Note: Pawel was a widower, with 2 children, Paul and Carol, [ 1st wife and 2 children died in PA.]. Krystyna's brother-in-law helped Pawel get a job on the police force and at one time owned a tavern. The tavern had living quarters upstairs. After the wedding of Frances Valeria to Ladislaus Fifelski in 1898, Pawel, Krystyna, Ladislaus and Frances all moved back to Chicago, Illinois where Pawel had to live in order to recieve his police pension. They all lived on Pawel's farm.
